The number of buildings deserving the title ‘ecological’ has been growing. Developers, property owners and facility managers are now increasingly opting for eco-friendly solutions and using them to promote their buildings.
There is no denying that the whole world, including the real estate market, has turned its focus on the environment. Sceptics, however, make the accusation that this is a mere ploy to generate positive PR. “Even if this is only done with such a strategy in mind, it still has an exceptionally positive influence. More importantly, it contributes towards promoting the right values,” – was the general consensus among the participants of the recent conject business breakfast on Green Building. conject is a company specialising in providing IT solutions that support the planning, construction, certification, operation and sale of properties. The company invited prominent market players to the discussion to share their experiences of the ecological solutions currently available on the property market.
The guests included: Zuzanna Paciorkiewicz, associate director of DTZ Management Poland; Katarzyna Zawodna, LEED environmental manager of Skanska Property Poland; Urszula Łuszpińska, technical director in the property management department at Knight Frank Poland; Karol Bartos, vice president of asset and development management at MGPA; Joanna Wis-Bielewicz, project director of TUP Property; Marzena Richter, a board member of Staniszewski & Richter Auditors; and Renate Kremer, the managing director
of Drees & Sommer Poland.
EUROBUILD CEE will publish this article in their magazine on 1st of May.
